What does Building Remediation Mean?
Building remediation is a construction term used to describe the process of identifying and fixing general building damage, such as: performance problems, structural flaws, defects, water ingress, and hazards.
In British Columbia, a vast majority of the problems come from water ingress (aka leaks). These leaks, over time, can cause rotted framing in structural systems, window and door performance failures, and hazardous mold inside walls.
