John Krenus, and his brothers, have been framing houses since the seventies, and before that, their Father was doing much of the same in the fifties. Time has continued on, and names have changed, but one thing remains the same - experience. CGC is owned by a family rooted in construction, and is widely considered one of the most respected brands in BC.

Every new home, before its built, has a chance to capitalize on the best parts of the land that it will sit on. All properties have positives and negatives, so the real challenge in new construction is highlighting the good, and limiting the bad.

Our Latest Project.

This 15,000sqft lot sits on one of the mountainous hillsides of Lions Bay overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

As we see in every lot, it is important to focus on the beauty the land offers, and limit the negative. All of this is accomplished by working together with an experienced builder who knows how to capitalize on the positives - like us!

This project has to focus on keeping the surrounding landscape lush, the views maximized, and the driveway and pedestrian entrances at a reasonable slope. By building around the old growth, keeping the structure towards the top of the lot, and using natural boulders for retaining, we can accomplish all of the above, respectively.
